Trying to keep your child's imagination intrigued is easy when you get them involved in enjoyable projects like personalized name art. Children love seeing their name spelled out. For example, you can take pictures of your child posing in various letter shapes and then post them in their room.  Another option is to have them explore creative photography with their own personal disposable camera, or use a digital camera and printer for more immediate results. Alphabet photography is fascinating, and educational, as it helps youngsters experience the community in which we live - there are a myriad of patterns, tones, lines, soft and dim and amusing elements for them to discover when observing through the camera's lens.

Another interesting activity is to write their name on individual white pieces of paper and then have them augment the photos to make the photos look like art using colored chalk. You can spread out a large cloth to make sure their work remains easy-to-clean if it gets somewhat chaotic. Your little ones will have such a great time creating their very own art work to hang in their bedroom.

You can also ask children to create personalized name art for their friends and relatives to give the art away as holiday gifts. Everybody loves seeing their name artistically made, and your youngsters are just as curious. A hand crafted art work means a great deal more than a store bought gift because it will make them feel truly special discovering that you spent valuable time to create photo art using their name.

One last idea is to create photo art for your pets, your cousins, brothers and sisters and even teachers at school. There are online resources where you can let your imagination run wild spelling with everyday objects. This is one great way to introduce everyone to the concept of letter art. You will have fun spelling the names of your pet, friends and your members of the family. Experiment by spelling a family name to observe what kind of creative images get produced. Try something new and fun with your child.
